BATTLE CREEK - Nathan Horstman, 42, of Battle Creek, passed away, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in rural Battle Creek, doing what he loved.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove. Father William A. McCarthy will officiate. Committal Services will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Ida Grove.

A Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. and Vigil Service at 6:45 p.m., Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove.
